Course Overview

This program is structured with a comprehensive of basic bio-science subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry and Microbiology as well as Pharmaceutical Technology, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy. The curriculum also includes elective subjects such as geriatric pharmacy, veterinary pharmacy, drug modelling, pharma co-economics and alternative medicine. In addition to the technical subjects, students are also required to enrol in University courses in the humanities and English. Industrial and hospital training is also an integral part of the programme.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

A-Levels

Grades 3Bs OR 2A1C OR 1A1B1C in Biology, Chemistry AND Physics OR Mathematics. Chemistry must be minimum grade B.

STPM

CGPA ? 3.0 with grade BBB, ABC or AAC in 3 subjects which is in Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics. Minimum grade B in Chemistry subject. Overall CGPA ? 3.0.

AIMST Foundation in Science / Matriculation / Foundation in Science

CGPA ? 3.0 including minimum grade B in Chemistry. Overall CGPA ? 3.0 (Duration: Min. 1 year.)
