Diploma In Automative Technology

This course is designed to produce highly skilled technicians in the field of automotive technology that meet the needs in a dynamic industry. The program incorporates the basics of mechanical training in addition to the use of various latest technologies in automotive diagnosis, repair, and maintenance required in line with the needs of various types of modern cars today. The technical workshop facilities provided allow students to practice learning skills and theories in real situations.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• Passed the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / Vocational Certificate of Education Malaysia (SPVM) with at least 3 credits in any subject and pass Bahasa Melayu and Mathematics; OR
• Passed Certificate in Mechanical Engineering (Automotive) from Polytechnic with at least CGPA 2.00; OR
• Passed Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 Motor Vehicle Technician (P-115-3) and obtained Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia Vokasional (SPMV) with at least 1 credit in any subject and passed Bahasa Melayu and Mathematics; OR
• Graduated Automotive Technology Certificate from MARA Skills Institute and obtained Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / Vocational Certificate of Education Malaysia (SPVM) with at least one credit in any subject and pass Bahasa Melayu and Mathematics; DAN
• Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia.
