Diploma In Building Technology

This program provides exposure, knowledge and skills in the field of construction. The comprehensive curriculum provided covers basic building construction work ranging from planning and preparing plans, material estimation, construction site preparation, construction work including architectural, mechanical and electrical work to building completion and delivery work. Construction workshop facilities are provided so that students can practice learning skills and theories in real situations.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• Passed the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / Vocational Certificate of Education Malaysia (SPVM) with at least 3 credits in any subject and pass Bahasa Melayu and Mathematics; OR
• Passed Certificate in Civil Engineering (Construction) from Polytechnic with at least CGPA 2.00; OR
• Passed Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 Building Construction Supervisor (B-010-3) and obtained Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia Vokasional (SPMV) with at least 1 credit in any subject and passed Bahasa Melayu and Mathematics; OR
• Graduate Certificate of Building Technology MARA Skills Institute and obtained Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / Vocational Certificate of Education Malaysia (SPVM) with at least one credit in any subject and pass Bahasa Melayu and Mathematics; DAN
• Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia.
