Diploma In Electrical Technology

This course is designed to produce students who are knowledgeable & skilled in operating, testing, maintaining and repairing electrical machines & electronic devices. Students will attend lectures, perform assignments, do project work & perform practical work throughout the course. Specializations in the field of electrical discipline offered are such as Electrical Power System modules, Electrical Circuits, Electrical Wiring, Direct & Shuttle Machines, Motor Control, Electrical & Electronic Equipment Repair, Air Conditioning, Industrial Safety & Electricity Supply Act, Logic Control Method (PLC), Final Project & Undertake Industrial Training.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• Passed the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent, with at least credit in 3 subjects AND pass in Mathematics and English; OR
• Graduate Certificate in a related field of Higher Education Provider (HEP) which is recognized by the Malaysian Government with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and a pass in English at SPM; OR
• Passed the Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) Level 3 recognized: AND
• Pass SPM with at least one credit in one (1) subject;
• Continuing studies to the Diploma level in the same field
• If necessary, HEPs should provide a bridging program as a strengthening program for students moving from the skills sector to the academic sector; OR
• Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia.
