Master In Accounting And Finance

The programme aims to enhance graduate capabilities through an extensive application of advanced level skills related to the theory, principles and practices of accounting. Detailed knowledge of operations, activities and skills in accounting research and an enhanced understanding of financial management principles and application to corporate financial policy are emphasized greatly in this programme. A thorough knowledge related to the operations and activities of financial market is also incorporated within the curriculum with an applied knowledge of various specialized aspects of the accounting and finance industry. As a practical and career-oriented programme, KUL Master in Accounting and Finance guides the students to acquire knowledge and skills through self-learning, course work and research.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / related field with minimum CGPA of 2.75 (CGPA that does not meet 2.75 but more than 2.50 may be accepted upon internal assessment); or
2. Relevant professional Accounting qualifications equivalent to a bachelor’s degree; or 
3. Bachelor’s Degree with CGPA below 2.50 with five (5) years working experience; or
4. Other equivalent qualifications that may be accepted by the Senate. 

International students must pass:

• IELTS Band 5.5; or
• TOEFL with minimum score of 550
