Diploma In Computer Engineering

The curriculum of the MSU Diploma in Computer Engineering will give you a firm foundation in computer engineering, computer communications, and computer architecture. Through the innovative teaching and learning delivery techniques employed at MSU, you will gain highly developed transferable skills such as the analytical skills to solve complex problems and the communication skills to present your results effectively. At the end of your programme, you will graduate with the adaptability needed to meet the challenges of the 21st century.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

i) Pass SPM with at least credits in three (3) subjects, including Mathematics and one (1) Science / Technical / Vocational subject and pass in English; OR

ii) Pass UEC with at least grade B in three (3) subjects including Mathematics and one (1) Science / Technical / Vocational subject and pass in English; OR

iii) Pass O-Level with at least grade C in 3 subjects including Mathematics and one (1) Science / Technical / Vocational subject and pass in English; OR

iv) Vocational and Technical /Skills Certificate equivalent with (Level 3, MQF) with CGPA of 2.00 and one (1) year experience in related fields or at least one (1) semester of enhancement programme; OR

v) Certificate in Engineering / Engineering Technology (Level 3, MQF) with at least CGPA of 2.00; OR

vi) Pass Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) or equivalent, with pass in Mathematics, English and one (1) of subjects related to Sciences / Technical / Vocational at SPM level; OR

vii) Pass Malaysian Skills Certificate (MSC) (Level 3, MQF) in the relevant field and pass SPM with at least credit in three (3) subjects, including Mathematics and one (1) Science / Technical / Vocational subject and pass in English; OR

viii) Pass Certificate from Community College (Level 3, MQF) in the relevant field and pass SPM with credit in three (3) subjects, including Mathematics and one (1) Sciences / Technical / Vocational subject and pass in English; OR

ix) Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government.

International students: Test of Eglish as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 500 or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 5.0 or equivalent.
