Course Overview

The curriculum of the MSU multimedia diploma programme will equip you with the skills to develop cutting-edge multimedia applications and/or designs. You will learn storyboarding, animation, modeling, creative thinking, digital imaging, also programming. Your lecturers are industry professionals, and the learning opportunities and experiences we provide you will add depth and breadth to your understanding and develop both your vocational and life skills. An internship at the end of your studies ensures that you graduate industry-ready for a career in multimedia.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

i. Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)/ Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia Vokasional (SPMV) with at least credits in three (3) subjects; or

ii. Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least Grade B in three (3) subjects; or

iii. Pass O-Level with at least Grade C in three (3) subjects; or

iv. Pass Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) (Level 3 MQF) in the relevant field and pass SPM with at least credit in one (1) subject; or

v. Pass Certificate from Community College which is equivalent (Level 3 MQF) in the relevant field and pass SPM with at least credit in one (1) subject; or

vi. Pass Certificate in Technical and Vocational in relevant field which is equivalent with Level 3 MQF with CGPA of 2.00 and 1 year experience in related fields or 1 semester of enhancement programme; or

vii. Pass Certificate in Creative Multimedia Level 3 MQF in relevant field with at least CGPA of 2.00; or

viii. Pass Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or equivalent with at least Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in one (1) subjects; or

ix. Pass Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with Maqbul level; or

x. Any other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Malaysian Government AND Pass interview/ drawing test/ portfolio assessment conducted by the Higher Education Provider (HEP) for candidates who do not take the Arts Education subject or Engineering Drawing at SPM level.
