The QIU Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) degree is a four-year full time programme which was designed with a specific purpose to prepare graduates to become managers and accountants. This programme is designed to equip graduates with an in-depth understanding in the areas of accounting and finance, including financial accounting, assurance, taxation, corporate finance and financial management.

Graduates from this programme will gain valuable hands-on experience through an attachment to industry as part of their practical training. Crucially, the curriculum content is tailored to the specifications set by professional bodies such as MIA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA (Australia) and MICPA. This programme prepares graduates for a wide range of career possibilities in the accounting and finance industry, including the “Big Four” accounting firms.

Entry Requirements

• UEC : A minimum of grade B in five (5) subjects including Mathematics and pass in English.
• A-Level : 2 Passes with minimum of Grade D.
• Diploma : Minimum CGPA 2.50 (Diploma in a related field).
• STPM : 2 Principal Passes with minimum of Grade C+.
