Delivered in collaboration with the University of Greenwich, UK, this three‑year honours degree blends international standards with strong local relevance. Designed with employability at its core, you’ll participate in professional placements at least twice a week—gaining real-world experience in nurseries, kindergartens, and early years settings from Day 1.
Your studies will deepen your understanding of early childhood development, covering topics like cognition, health and wellbeing, policy and practice reviews, effective curriculum planning, and the vital role of family partnerships. The programme strives to shape you into a confident leader and an agent of change—ready to positively influence the next generation.
Practical training takes place at SEGi campuses in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and Sarawak, supported by specialist facilities like simulated nursery environments and expert faculty with both academic and hands-on industry experience.
Upon graduation, you’ll be qualified for leadership and management roles across a range of early years and community settings—such as children's centres, preschool administrations, health and social care services, and childminding networks. You’ll also receive Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) from the UK—enhancing your credibility regionally and beyond.
