Strategic Service Management
In this program, students transition from operational tasks to high-level strategic oversight of food and beverage environments. The curriculum focuses on coordinating complex hospitality operations, where learners study how to manage organizational finances, develop comprehensive business plans, and implement quality customer service practices. Instead of just serving guests, students analyze service flow and financial budgets to ensure a venue remains profitable and reputable.
Executive Learning Environment
Student life at the Perth Campus feels professional and focused, mirroring the environment of a corporate hospitality office. Learning happens through a mix of classroom discussions, research-based projects, and the preparation of complex financial reports. Students spend significant time using digital tools for asset management and monitoring budgets, preparing them for the administrative realities of running a large-scale hotel or restaurant chain.
Workplace Integration and Projects
A core part of the experience involves putting theory into practice through work-based training. Students are required to complete at least 240 hours of placement, covering a minimum of 50 full food service periods. This allows them to lead real teams in various settings like clubs, pubs, or catering operations. Projects often involve designing new menus or solving real-world staffing and logistics problems, giving students a clear sense of the accountability required in senior management.
Global Leadership Pathways
Graduating with this qualification opens doors to roles such as Food and Beverage Manager, Restaurant Manager, or Area Manager across diverse sectors. The program is structured to provide significant autonomy, teaching students how to make critical business decisions independently. Beyond immediate employment, the course serves as a bridge to further undergraduate studies in business or international hotel management for those looking to reach executive board levels
