Flexible Pathway Options: Choose between two study pathways tailored to your background. The 36-week Advanced Standing Pathway suits students who have completed Certificate III in Hospitality, focusing exclusively on diploma-level competencies. The 52-week Direct Entry Pathway includes foundational hospitality skills alongside management training, incorporating 5 weeks of work-based training (36 shifts) in real hospitality environments arranged by Stanley College's dedicated Employment Liaison Team.

Comprehensive Management Training: Master essential competencies including enhancing customer service experiences, developing quality service practices, conflict management, financial management within budgets, budget preparation and monitoring, legal risk management and compliance, staff rostering, leading and managing people, monitoring work operations, establishing business relationships, and implementing work health and safety practices. Develop specialized skills in food and beverage service, cocktail preparation, event planning, bar operations, espresso coffee service, and visitor information services.

Practical Industry Experience: Study through multiple delivery methods including face-to-face classroom learning, practical training and assessment at Stanley College's culinary workshop, work-based training in genuine hospitality venues, and distance learning components. Classes are rostered for 2½ days per week plus self-study, with full-time students attending a minimum of 20 scheduled contact hours weekly, ensuring you balance theoretical knowledge with real-world application.

Career-Ready Skills: Qualify for diverse management positions including Banquet or Function Manager, Restaurant Manager, Bar and Cafe Manager, Club Manager, Motel Manager, and Unit Manager in catering operations.
