Course Overview

Sunway University’s Bachelor in Digital Media Design (Hons) is a 4-year, industry-focused programme designed to equip students with expertise in digital media, multimedia design, and graphic communication. The curriculum spans 123 credit hours, covering core subjects, electives, and MOHE/compulsory courses, along with a 6-credit internship that provides real-world experience. Graduates will be well-prepared for careers in areas such as digital publishing, web design, and animation. This programme is modelled after the BS in Graphic Information Technology offered by the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering at Arizona State University.

American Degree Transfer Program (ADTP) Completion of ADTP with minimum CGPA of 2.0 STPM Average Grade C or CGPA 2.0 (minimum 2 principals) A-Level Minimum 8 points (minimum Grade D in at least 2 subjects) Australian Matriculation Minimum ATAR 50% Canadian Matriculation Minimum 50% Monash University Foundation Year Minimum 50% Foundation Program Minimum CGPA of 2.0 Unified Examination Certificate Maximum 28 points from 5 subjects (all Grade Bs including English) International Baccalaureate Completed with minimum 24 points (excluding bonus point) Diploma Minimum CGPA of 2.0 Other Qualifications Any other equivalent qualifications. An applicant with no standard qualification will be considered on a case-to-case basis.
