Entry Requirement

Applicants must meet one of the following academic qualifications: STPM with an average of C+ or CGPA 2.33 (minimum 2 Principals); A-Level with a minimum of 12 points, calculated based on grades obtained from 2 or 3 subjects (A = 10 points, B = 8 points, C = 6 points, D = 4 points, E = 2 points); Australian Matriculation with an ATAR of 60; Canadian Matriculation with 60%; Monash University Foundation Year with 60%; Sunway Foundation in Arts or Science Technology with a CGPA of 2.0; Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with a maximum of 26 points from 5 subjects (all Grade Bs); International Baccalaureate with a minimum of 25 points (excluding bonus points); or Sunway Diploma with a CAVG of 50% or CGPA of 2.0 (students may obtain advanced standing if credit transfer requirements are met). Applicants with an APEL.A Certificate (APEL T-6) or other equivalent qualifications are also eligible, and those without standard qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Specific requirements include credit in Mathematics at SPM or equivalent. English language requirements include IELTS 6.0, MUET Band 4, SPM English B+ or higher, UEC English B4, O-Level English (1119) Credit, passing Level 4 of the Sunway Intensive English Programme (IEP) with a minimum of 65%, or meeting satisfactory ESL/English proficiency in pre-university programs where English is the medium of instruction.
