Diploma in Nursing

The Diploma in Nursing program at Sunway integrates traditional and cutting-edge technological applications. The program serves people who are passionate about promoting others' well-being. Core medical and nursing disciplines, including human anatomy and physiology, nursing care, and related support subjects like counselling and communication, will be taught to students in this program. In order to give all patients with holistic healthcare, the course makes sure that students learn how to be nurturing, caring, and counselling. When it comes to providing healthcare to individuals in need, this curriculum guarantees that Sunway University nursing graduates will emerge as informed, capable, and compassionate professionals. 

The theory and practical assessments are conducted for each semester throughout the 3-year programme. Students will be awarded with Sunway University and the Nursing Board of Malaysia Registration Certificates upon successfully passing the licensure examination.

Students who enrol in this program are eligible to apply for sponsorship from Sunway Medical Centre which offers exclusive sponsorship to students to pursue nursing studies at Sunway University, whereby employment is guaranteed upon graduation.

The patient simulation laboratory allows nursing students to practice critical thinking, clinical decision making, psychomotor skills in a safe controlled environment without potential risk to a live patient.
