Diploma in Performing Arts

Theatre and film are the two main subjects covered in our interdisciplinary Diploma in Performing Arts program. Students diligently expand their knowledge and refine their foundational abilities in both areas throughout the course of two years: backstage, onstage, in front of the camera, and behind the scenes. A vibrant, experienced, and varied faculty that reflects current industry practices supports students. In addition to lectures, students can study through field visits, performances, conversations, viewings, tutorials, practical sessions, and demonstrations. Students are urged to speak up and critique their own work. Additionally, they have lots of chances to produce for the present.

After graduating, students can decide to continue their studies at Sunway or at one of our partner universities in Australia or the UK.

This special program gives students a great job start. In addition to theatre and film, graduates of the Diploma in Performing Arts have achieved success in the linked fields of digital media, journalism, television, radio, advertising, broadcasting, and social media.
