Bachelor Of Computer Science (Network Computing) (Hons)

Communication network has become a crucial platform for the world of ICT. It plays an important role in enabling communication in organization and also at personal level. Network computing programme provides fundamental and integrated study toward this direction.

Network computing programme covers system integration studies between software and hardware technologies which focus on high-speed, high performance, mobile systems and networks. This programme encompasses theories and hands on practical in computer science and communication network related fields. Students undergo this programme will not only be exposed to extensive technical knowledge, but various soft skills such as problem solving and critical thinking.

The minimum requirements for entry into most undergraduate programmes are as follows:-

1. A good pass in the Sijil Tinggi Peperiksaan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of:

• Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in Pengajian Am; AND
• Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in two (2) other subjects,

OR

2. A good pass in Sijil Matrikulasi KPM/Asasi Sains UM with a minimum

• CGPA of 2.00

OR

3. A recognised Diploma in relevant fields

AND

3.1 Malaysian University English Test (MUET)

3.2 At least a credit for Bahasa Melayu in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)
