Tamhidi For Science And Technology

With the advent of computers, these days computers are not just a equipment but a necessary object. The Tamhidi for Science and Technology program at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) is a one-year preparatory program designed to equip students with foundational knowledge in science and technology. The program prepares students for further undergraduate studies in various fields of science, engineering, and technology.

Course Overview:

The program offers a comprehensive curriculum, which includes:

• Basic Science Studies: Subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology to build a strong foundation in science.
• Islamic Studies: Subjects like Islamic Education or Quranic Studies to integrate both religious and secular knowledge.
• Human Skills: Training in soft skills such as communication, leadership, and professional ethics to develop well-rounded graduates.
• Language Proficiency: Emphasis on improving proficiency in both English and Arabic to enhance communication skills in global and Islamic contexts.

Upon successful completion of this preparatory program, students will be eligible to progress into undergraduate programs in USIM’s various faculties, including:

• Faculty of Science and Technology: Programs like Bachelor of Science in Food Biotechnology, Actuarial Science, Financial Mathematics, Applied Physics, and more.
• Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment: Programs such as Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Chemical Engineering, and Civil Engineering.
• Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics: Programs like Bachelor of Computer Science with specializations in Information Security and Computer Science.
