Diploma In Accountancy

This course aims to provide broad and inter-disciplinary aspect of accounting field as well as economics, management, legal and information technology knowledge and skills are incorporated in the curriculum. This course enables students to adopt an enquiring and creative approach and to exercise critical awareness of issues in accounting.

As such, graduates of this course are expected to be competent to handle not only the common accounting transactional matters but as well to assist the accountant in managing financial accounting reports.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• Pass SPM or equivalent with a minimum of 3 credits including Mathematics, and pass English; OR
• Pass a Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) or equivalent, with a minimum of Grade C (NGMP 2.0) in any subject, and credit in Mathematics and pass English at SPM level; OR
• Pass a Malaysian Higher Education Certificate (STAM) with a minimum of Maqbul (pass) and credit in Mathematics and pass English at SPM level; OR
• Pass a Level 3 SKM in a relevant field and pass a SPM with a minimum of 1 credit in any subject with credit in Mathematics and English pass; OR
• Certificate or its equivalent in the relevant field
