Diploma In Aquaculture

Diploma in Aquaculture is a 2.5 years course, conducted in 7 semesters and students need to accomplish 91 credit hours. The program encompasses the elements of Science, Aquaculture and Industrial aspects to produce graduates who able to tackle the impending demands of the industry.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Local student

• Possess Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with three (3) credits in Mathematics, one science subject and one any other subject, or its equivalent; OR
• Pass Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subject, or its equivalent; and possess SPM with three (3) credits in Mathematics, one science subject and one any other subject, or its equivalent; OR
• Pass Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul, or its equivalent; and possess SPM with three (3) credits in Mathematics, one science subject and one any other subject, or its equivalent; OR
• Pass Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) (Level 3, MQF) in a related field and possess SPM with one (1) credit; OR 
• A Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, or its equivalent.

Note: The credit requirement at SPM level for candidate in categories (ii) and (iii) can be

waived should the grades obtained at the STPM / STAM level are equivalent/higher.

International student

International students are required to achieve a minimum score of 5.0 in International

English Language Testing System (IELTS) OR Band 3 in Malaysian University English

Test (MUET) OR its equivalent.
