Bachelor Of Business Administration (Insurance) (Hons)

Objective

To produce professional managers and leaders in the globalised insurance industry.

To equip students with general business operational knowledge in addition to the specialized knowledge of the principles and practices of insurance.

The programme is designed so that students not only learn in the lecture room but also gain practical knowledge and experience through projects and assignments in the field with professional insurance experts.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Pass in STPM with a minimum grade of C (Grade Point of 2.00) in any TWO (2) subjects; OR Pass in A-Level with full pass in any TWO (2) courses; OR Pass Matriculation, Foundation or Pre-university with a minimum CGPA of 2.00; OR Pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM)with a minimum grade of Jayyid; OR Pass in UEC with minimum of B grade in FIVE (5) subjects including a pass in Mathematics & English; OR Diploma with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 from universities/Colleges recognised by the Malaysian Government; OR Pass in International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma with minimum score of 30 points; OR Other equivalent qualifications recognised by MQA/Malaysian Government. Additional Requirements SPM with credit in English and/or MUET Band 2, Bahasa Malaysia & Mathematics.

English Proficiency Requirements International Students TOEFL 550; OR IELTS Band 5.5; OR Pre-U or Secondary Education undertaken in English medium. The validity period for TOEFL and IELTS is TWO (2) years from the date of the award. Malaysian Students Malaysian students who enroll into Universiti Tun Abdul Razak Bachelor's programmes must possess a minimum of Band 2 in their Malaysia University English Test (MUET). University Exit Requirements Malaysian students - MUET Band 4 International students - IELTS Band 6

Diploma from UNIRAZAK with CGPA achievement at least 2.75; or

Diploma from other Universities with CGPA achievement at least 3.00; or

Diploma from Polytechnics under the Ministry of Education, Malaysia

Equivalent qualification which is recognized by the Malaysian Government
