Bachelor Of Agriculture Science (Hons)

This four-year program is designed to produce professional graduates in the field of agricultural science. The curriculum of the program includes all elements such as, mathematics, personality, crop science, botany, food crops, industrial crops, agricultural biochemistry, genetics and cells, livestock science, soil science, soil microbes management, industrial microbiology, entrepreneurship, genetics and breeding, entomology , economics in agriculture, mechanization in agriculture. Students are also given exposure while conducting industrial training for 12 weeks at external agencies related to agriculture in addition to farm practices conducted each semester starting from the third semester. This can provide exposure to students to meet the needs of the market in related fields.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

1. Passed Diploma related to minimum CGPA 2.0 from a recognized institution; OR
2. Passed STPM or equivalent with at least grade C (NGMP 2.0) in two (2) subjects AND credit in Mathematics at SPM level ; OR
3. Passed STAM at least Jayyid rank; OR
4. Passed Matriculation / Foundation / Foundation (IPTA / IPTS - allowed to offer Foundation ) with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 ; OR
5. Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia

International Student

1. TOEFL score 550 or IELTS score 5.0 or equivalent.
2. If it does not meet the criteria, it is necessary to pass the English Language Skills offered by the HEP.
