Course Overview

Technologies like television, medical imaging, and ubiquitous electric power are just a few instances of how electrical and electronics engineering are vital to contemporary life. Through their speciality, students enrolled in UOW Malaysia KDU's Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Electrical and Electronics program gain technical knowledge and abilities while receiving a wide education in electrical and electronics engineering. In their fourth year, students have the option of selecting one of three majors.:

Electrical Power and Renewable Energy

Focuses on harnessing green energy and developing the latest smart-grid technology

Electronic Engineering

Emphasises on advanced digital system design and embedded systems

Communication Engineering

Focuses on radio frequency and optical communication

Entry Requirement

The detailed entry requirements for the program are as follows: For **GCE A Levels**, 2 Principal Passes (2Es) are required, including Mathematics and Physics. For **STPM**, 2 Principal Passes (2Cs) are required, including Mathematics and Physics. For **UEC**, a minimum of 5 Credits (5Bs) is required, including Mathematics and Physics. For **Foundation**, a pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 is required. For **Diploma**, a pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 is required. Any other qualifications deemed equivalent by the Ministry of Education, Malaysia, or as stated in the **Senarai Nilai Taraf Kelayakan Akademik** document by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency will also be considered (subject to review and approval of certified transcripts). **English Proficiency Requirement**: For **local students**, a Band 3 in MUET is required. For **international students**, a Band 5.5 in IELTS, or a minimum score of 46 (IBT) or 454 (PBT) in TOEFL, or a score of 42 and above for Pearson English Test is required.
