About This University

On 2 August 2003, Riam Institute of Technology (RIAMTEC) was officially granted IPTS status (Private Higher Educational Institution) and has since been managed by Riam Educational Sdn Bhd.

Proudly a true home-grown institution, RIAMTEC began as a vocational college about 20 years ago and has grown into a tertiary education provider. Today, it offers JPK-accredited TVET programmes under the School of TVET and MQA-accredited Diploma programmes under the School of Academic.

With its “learning by doing” approach, RIAMTEC integrates study with practical work experience, emphasising both technical and soft skills, as well as close industry engagement. This applied learning culture has enabled the institute to produce highly skilled graduates, ready to thrive in today’s dynamic work environment.
